People make their way carefully along the snowy pavements, while a lone cyclist has decided that the slippery road is better tackled on foot. Nearby, a London taxi has pulled over, adding another small moment of everyday London life to the scene.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBermondsey Street has a fascinating history. In the early 19th century, St Mary Magdalen Church and its churchyard became associated with concerns over grave robbing and body snatching.
